Sleep Appliance / Sleep Aid / Airway Enhancement

Snoring can be a real problem for you and your family members. When the airway closes during sleep for an extended time, it will lead to more serious health problems.  The tongue has a major role in snoring and obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) as it can relapse into airway and cause obstruction.  We can help you to get a more restful night’s sleep by fabricating you a sleep appliance.

We also offer the DNA & mRNA Appliance™ for non-Surgical Upper Airway Enhancement.

Typically, oral appliances used to manage snoring and sleep apnea in adults are mandibular advancement devices that simply protrude the lower jaw. These devices are worn over a lifetime, and do not address the underlying etiology of the condition. The DNA & mRNA Appliance™ helps to re-develop the upper airway so that underlying sleep apnea can be resolved in mild, moderate and even severe cases.

Dr Reid is a certified DNA & mRNA Appliance™s provider.

DNA & mRNA Appliance™

The DNA & mRNA Appliance™ is developed by Dr. Dave Singh. He found a natural method that utilizes a removable appliance that consist of 3-D Axial springs™ that are specially made from Do-Not-Adjust wire™ or DNA wire™to move teeth into their correct positions, using the concept of Epigenetic Orthodontics to enhance craniofacial development.

The DNA appliance®, which is worn during the evening and at night, allows the body to gently increase the size of the upper jaw and increase the volume of the nasal airway.

The FDA-cleared, patented, mandibular Repositioning-Nighttime Appliance® (or mRNA appliance®) is a biomimetic oral appliance that provides combined maxillo-mandibular correction. The mRNA appliance is worn at night, and this allows the body to reposition the mandible while gently redeveloping the midface, as well as remodeling the upper airway in adults, while correcting the positions of the teeth into a more natural position.

There is evidence available in dental and medical literature that the DNA & mRNA appliances™ help to guide the teeth, jaws, TMJ, face and airway into more optimal relations for functions, such as sleep and breathing. The appliance protocols are also effective in addressing issues such as TMD and obstructive sleep apnea in both adults and children without using surgery, drugs or injections.
